Documents concerns regarding lack of office preparedness for pediatric emergencies among Wisconsin physicians. A mailing suggesting how to meet these needs, entitled "Wisconsin Recommended Guidelines for Physician Offices, Clinics and Urgent Care Centers for Pediatric Emergency Preparedness," was sent to practices, but did not result in significant improvements. Issues identified included lack of appropriate equipment, medications, and office staff training.
